Clubs & Societies

  • Creat a new club or society

  • Ratification

A club or society is a group formed from interest in the areas of academics, politics, recreation, culture or leisure. Anyone can be a member of a club or society, whether you’re a student, faculty, staff or alumni of Memorial University.

If you’re looking to get involved on campus clubs and societies are a great place to start! Browse through clubs and societies that exist already to find what you’re interested in, or start up your own group with some friends! The process is simple. Once you have formed a group you can apply for recognition by the Union. After two semesters of recognition your club or society can then apply each semester for ratification as a fully fledged presence on campus!

Clubs and Societies can book rooms and equipment for events. To book these items and spaces, contact MUNSU’s front desk by emailing or calling 709-864-7633. (We only have the authority to book some of these spaces, but we can redirect you to the appropriate person otherwise!)
